Gosh, it has been quite some time I didn't update my blog. I was busy with my club practices and I went to KL last week. Well, let me describe my holidays day by day...

Today, is the day! Everyone was anxious about their results. We ate Secret Recipe's Chocolate Cake and drank Easy Way. That's how we finished our class fund. I don't want to talk about this day as it is not so interesting. Especially the moment I went up the stage. But it was fun though, being ooo-ed. :)

Well, first day of holiday. I did nothing. I woke up 8 in the morning. I practiced my violin for 2 hours and my dad kept saying :" 2 hours is not enough." Urgh... I was accepted in my audition. So, that means I can go to New Zealand next year. But I really really need to work hard.
15.11.2009
I studied the Basics by Simon Fischer until midnight. Gosh, I noticed that there are some techniques that I got them wrong. Change, that's all.
16.11.2009
Well, erm, today is our first day of intensive practice. We did quite well, except the violas. They couldn't even read the notes. I worked on them until 3.30 pm until I was so damn tired. We are going to perform in Sutera Harbour next week.
17.11.2009
Second day of intensive practice. The violas improved a bit. I went to violin lesson. I told Mr. Yap that I was accepted in the audition. I was so confused when he straight away stood up and went out. But all my questions were answered when he came back with a maroon book. "Antiono Vivaldi Concerto Op. 8 Spring and Summer", it wrote on the book. My new piece I am going to work on - Summer.
18.11.2009
Nothing happened today. Only my foot hurts because of standing the whole day.
19.11.2009
I was so lazy to practice the violin. Mr. Yap came to our club's practice. Woah, he was so shock when he heard us play the Mamma Mia. You should see how he bit his tongue. Haha. His look was so shocking.
20.11.2009
Off we went to KL after 2 hours of club practice. We reached there and my dad say he wanted to go to Genting to "get some money". So, after one and a half hour drive, we reached there about 5.30 pm. I bought some ice-creams. They were so easy to eat. They don't melt. Haha. But it costs RM 4.00 for one Nestle Drumstick. I met one of my junior friend there too. He was freezing. Haha.
21.11.2009
Went down to KL today. I felt so hot after visiting Genting. We did not waste our time. We straight away went to Sungei Wang after we checked in our "second home" - Cititel. I went to Chambers to buy some music scores for myself and our club. I also bought two egg shakers and two castenets for our club. But one thing. They needed my Grade 8 practical certificate to apply for the membership. I told them that I live in Sabah. And, no one wants to bring their original certificate to travel around the world and get it destroyed. And they answered me, rules are rules. Whatever, who wants their discounts?
22.11.2009
We went down to MidValley's Megamall to shop. We went there a bit too early. Haha. Nevermind. We ate Subway as our breakfast, and I bought a new Nike shoes and a new Crocs. My sister bought 4 pairs of shoes. I also bought one shirt from Zara, RM 129.00. My most expensive shirt. Well, we went to the International Chinese Book Fair at the Mines. I got my certificate and RM 150.00 as I got the Second place in the poem competition organized by Pelangi. The Ping Ton magazine store was just beside the stage. It was full of posters written 废 and 最废的平旦漫画. The author was there. But, nobody went to his store. The stock was so full. And it is already 6:45 pm. I bought 4 Chinese Mystery storybooks for only RM 36.00 at a special price. It was written by two "Penangians". They said they are going to publish two new books at year end and one book every two month next year. Then, I bought two books, 鹅卵石 and 小天堂 for only RM16.00 each. Then, I ate two Green Tea ice creams from Taiwan. I told my sister that I might miss the taste but she said it is better to miss the taste then to regret (想念好过后悔). Then we tried to catch a taxi. One of the driver said it needed RM 40.00 to get back to Cititel as it is very jam (caused by the book fair, but it is only inside the area, once you get out, it is nothing). Then, we rejected and he asked :"Kawan, berapa kamu mahu? (Friend, how much you want?)". I anwered him "RM 2". And we left straight away. So, my dad said we try to find another exit at the shopping mall. But, alas, there is none. I saw one cute thing in the mall. You can throw it on the floor, it breaks and become liquid-ish and then becomes solid again. I wanted to buy it so that I can play it in club but my dad said we have to rush as his leg is very pain. Then, we went back to the same exit/entrance. There were more taxis but they were all the same. My dad said that they help each other (bekerjasama to cheat our money and the Indian guy just now should have told them not to take us anywhere), so they give the same price. Then, we caught a Chinese taxi driver. He said RM 12 will be enough. Then we hopped in. We shopped at Megamall for the rest of the night until almost all the shops were closed. The last shop I went was MPH but they announced "We are going to close in 10 minutes." just as I reached the section I wanted to go. Then, when they finished announing, they immediately switched off all the lights. Gosh...
To be continued...
